Camp Ingeniero 2011 (Day 1)

On 21st – 22nd December 2011, enthusiastic SEG students gathered together for Cyriva Club’s Camp Ingeniero (Leadership Camp).
On the first day of the camp, participants were assigned to different teams and started the ice breaking games. They also made a shirt that represent and symbolise their team.

Next, participants were assigned to different stations to play 8 different team building and leadership games. The purpose of these team building games is to bring out the best in a team to ensure self-development, positive communication, leadership skills and the ability to work closely together as a team to problem solve. As we all know, these points enable us to work better in future or in life too.

After team building games, participants had 6 wet activities where they had fun and excitement with one another.

Thereafter the wet activities, participants started preparation for the final showdown where they have to come up with a performance relating to REPUBLIC Code of Honor. The purpose of the final showdown is to ensure that by the end of the day, the participants work as a team together to put up a great show, and at the same time create awareness on the Code of Honor to the students so that they can be good student leaders in the future and set good examples for the upcoming juniors.

Lastly, participants played running man. Running man is something like catching where participants work as a team and display their leadership skills. It is also to strategize and have a good plan within your team. These make the team closer and bond better.

Successful end of DAY 1
