We would like to congratulate Team Dash Two consisting of Theresa Lim and Reuben Lim (from Diploma in Supply Chain Management) won the 2nd Runner-up with Trophy and US$400 award for SAP Dashboard Design Competition 2012.
Another team Final Dash consisting of Chew Woon Sin and Edmund Ng Wai Hong (from Diploma in Supply Chain Management) was also listed as one of the six finalists in this competition.
In early September 2012, SAP invited all tertiary students in universities and polytechnics in Southeast Asia to participate in SAP dashboard design competition 2012, which is to develop a dashboard to show the performance of Olympic Game from 1996 to 2012. We assembled four teams consisting of DSCM students Theresa Lim, Reuben Lim, Chew Woon Sin, Edmund Ng Wai Hong, Ng Jiun Yan, Dang Dang, Koh Yu Na and Katherine Lim to participate in the competition.
Our teams put in great effort within such a short time during their semester vacation and heavy school workload and two teams managed to enter the final 6 after competing against 30+ entries from Singapore!
On 2 November 2012, we went to SAP Singapore office for the final presentation.
Our team gave a great presentation to showcase the functionality and insightful user experience provided by the dashboard we designed.
It was definitely a fruitful learning journey for our students, being there has been a great achievement and learning opportunity for us!
