April 12 2012 was the Second day of the
Freshmen Orientation Program. After the freshman settled down to their
respective teams, the emcees and the student leaders start the ball rolling by
playing ‘SEG-wave’!
Day 2 was about students to know better
about the different Interest groups that are available in RP through the SLA
fiesta booths. Later during the day, students were informed about NYAA in RP by
a speaker. Freshmen were taught the Republic War Cry, and making sure that they
are able to do it correctly. Lastly on its agenda, was a rehearsal for both
dancers and Tug-Of-War warriors.
Though it
was as early as 9am, freshmen were rather energetic and enthusiastic to do the
SEG-wave.
Soon after, the SLA fiesta game cards were given
out to the freshmen they are off to the SLA booths!
The entire
stretch of Agora Hall and South Agora walkway was sardined packed of freshmen
from all schools and they were geared up for the SLA fiesta!
After the
freshmen returned to the SEG home base, student leaders taught them a few of
SEG’s signature cheers!
After
the lunch, there is a NYAA talk by the NYAA IG. It was to give the freshmen
some information about the NYAA leadership.
After the
NYAA talk, it was the start of the Republic Echo. All the Student Leaders and
Cyrivians had taken up the role to teach the freshmen SEG cheers for tug-of-war,
as well as the Republic War Cry which overwhelmed the entire hall!
It was
soon the time for the dance performance by our freshmen! Everyone watched their
performance and judging by the applause, everyone loved it!
Dance performance by the Freshmen.
The Freshmen watched the performance and they were in awe!
After the
performance, the students were debriefed about the next day of the orientation
program, which is the big day for the challenge of the Principal Cup! The day
ended off with the smiles on the freshmen faces and the loudest cheer of SEG
SAR!
